The fire glass strips supplied were a fraction too wide to fit my fire door. I explained the problem and Stove Glass despatched replacements by return which were an excellent fit - very fast response and excellent customer service. Thank you!

I have one question though, I’ve fitted new rope but the door won’t close now. I’ve turned the handle to the tightest but still no luck 😭

Regarding the door not closing, it sounds like the rope may be a little too thick or if the thickness is the same, it may be a hard rather than soft rope. We’ve checked your order and it doesn’t appear that the rope was supplied by us, so it may be worth checking that the replacement rope is the correct size for your stove.

Sadly, the item did not fit and needed to be cut to size. The measurements listed online were as required but this is not what was delivered. It would be worth checking the measurements before you attempt to fit the replacement

Vitcas 10mm white rope kit - includes rope seal and glue!
This site had very clear instructions to measure for the replacement glass. The order arrived next day, less than 24 hours later, in excellent condition. The glass was fitted in that day using the accessories in the pack. Not tried thee fire yet due to the heat wave.!!
