Why Replace Your Top Plate Rope Seal?
Over time, the rope seal around a stove’s top plate can become worn, flattened, brittle, or compressed. A deteriorated seal may allow unwanted air to enter or heat to escape, potentially affecting combustion and overall stove performance.
Replacing the top plate rope helps restore a tight, secure seal, supporting more consistent airflow and efficient operation.
Upgrade your Vermont Dutchwest stove with this easy-to-install top plate rope seal replacement and help restore the seal around the stove’s top plate.
